by phone to arrange a visit: In 2009, with the goal of reviving the land, the original orchard was removed and alfalfa planted to restore nitrogen to the soil. In the beautiful green fields a productive hay crop is thriving –serving as a placeholder for the farm’s next incarnation. Sixteen trees remain near the house as a border.
